About the programme

A teacher–student model, not a marketplace.

AARSLA MentorLink runs one global cohort at a time. Mentors guide, mentees work toward stated goals, and the Secretariat keeps the cycle honest.

Why this exists

AARSLA unites 20+ African road safety lead agencies around zero fatalities. MentorLink is the leadership programme under that mission: senior practitioners stay with early and mid-career professionals for a full year.

It is modelled on a teacher–student relationship. Applications are reviewed. Matches are proposed, then approved by people. The cohort closes with evaluation, certification, and an archive before the next cycle opens.

Applications are global. AARSLA is African; MentorLink is open to anyone who will support African road safety leadership.
